I’m always referring to the new lengths designers are going to while attempting to pull off strange, original looks with fashion. Certainly, fashion is no stranger to weirdness. In fact, it relishes weird. However, the 2010 fashion shows have taken weird to a whole new level. Designers are redefining shoes. For some, shoes are no longer things that cover your feet or even things you can walk in. They are pieces of abstract art, something to stare at, wonder about and try to figure out. While some people could care less about shoes and worry more about their top or the entire outfit as a whole, some will base their entire look on their shoes. One can’t help but wonder what kind of outfit each of these shoes would inspire. I’m not saying all of these shoes are particularly beautiful or practical. They do, however, capture the imagination and the attention of whoever lays eyes on them. Here is a look at some weird picks from top designers.
