How long should I wait for the second date?

I had a coffee date with a gentleman on Thursday evening. He asked me if I would like to go out on a date sometime to which I replied yes and gave him my phone number. When should I expect that call? It is now Sunday.

Well, some people still follow that "3 day" rule. Which is a load...I wait a max of 2 days. lol After all no one wants to sound needy. If you give your number, you should always try and get theirs. If they hesitate, or doesn't give it, chances are they aren't looking for anything serious, and want to do things on their own timetable. In which case, you shouldn't hope for much, keep your options open. But since you posted this back on Jan. 17, did he ever call?
