Does coffee consumption deplete vitamin C in the body?
Posted by: Dover-gal on July 16, 2008

It's great that we no longer must be so aware of how much coffee we drink. Years ago, however, it was said that coffee helped to deplete vitamin C in the body. Is this still a fact or has that too become a myth? Does coffee have any affect on vitamins in the body, whether natural or supplement? Thanks!

I used to work at this retirement home. One man told me, "you know what? I've been here for years and notice that tea drinkers last longer than coffee drinkers. and that's a fact!" I don't know if that was true but I totally drink tea way more than coffee, besides, it gives me headaches and stomach aches. Hope that helps =P
