Tropical or Traditional Wedding?

Okay, well my boyfriend has just started bringing up wedding ideas and his idea of perfect marriage to me would be to get married somewhere tropical or hot on a beach with close friends and family only. Whereas my idea has always been to get married in my 'church'. Although, I had thought getting married somewhere else was a very cool idea, I just know for a fact my parents and friends would totally not want me to do that since I'm the only girl in my family too. Well, he knows that and he told me he would do whatever I wanted and whatever would make me and our families happy because he wouldn't be happy if I wasn't. The thing is I don't want him to compromise with what he's always wanted either, how do I find an easy solution and get what we both want out of the wedding? Because marriage is more than just about a wedding its about bonding 2 families and bonding with eachother like a rope. What should I doooo??

Either way you go you will be bonding your families, that comes with getting married. You could try making the wedding a tropical theme in the church, or you can go to a tropical place and get married.
