What The Research Tells Us
Exercising improves blood flow to the genitals, increases hormone levels and reduces stress. Exercise makes your body stronger, more flexible and more attractive. Feeling good about yourself will make you feel sexier.
Studies have shown that men who are physically active have more satisfying orgasms and their risk for erectile dysfunction is 30 per cent lower than men who engage in little or no physical activity.
Women reap great sexual benefits from exercise too. Not only does exercising make women feel more randy, a study at Bentley College in Massachusetts found that active women in their 40s engaged in sex more often (about seven times per month) and enjoyed it more than their sedentary peers.
Improve Your Stamina
Sex, especially good sex, can take its toll on you if your cardiovascular endurance isn't up to par. So try exercising with your partner. Go for a bike ride, a run or visit the gym together. Besides, what's hotter than seeing your honey working hard to look good for you?
Generally, any aerobic activity such as walking, running, cycling or swimming for at least 30 minutes, three times per week, will help both of you perform longer and more often.
