Are you tired of Oprah, Dr. Phil, and Jerry Springer? Do you find that today’s entertainers are not intelligent enough for you? Do you want a talk-show host who doesn’t mind admitting he’s evil? I have two words for you, my friends: Stewie Griffin. In a few months, the infamous baby from the animated series Family Guy will have his own talk show (no Ed Sullivan here, folks!) Fox is promising that overlap between the TV show and the Internet-based show, which is being hosted on FamilyGuy.com, will be limited. The first question on everyone’s mind is “Who will be Stewie’s first guest?” My guess would be either a person Stewie despises, for example, easy-mark celebrities such as Britney Spears or Pamela Anderson, or a person he respects and idolizes – Dr. Kevorkian comes to mind. And speaking of pure evil, Simon Cowell threw the biggest of drama-queen spazzes on Wednesday night’s American Idol, when he stormed off the show. Some of us found this hilarious, especially when the cause turned out to be a culmination of co-host mocking by Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, set off by Paula’s lack of support for his contestant-bashing.
