Fitness is often depicted as something that comes in one form.  After all, watching TV can give you the idea that if you aren’t working with a personal trainer, your fitness goals are doomed.  The best way to succeed at getting fit is to do something suited to your personality.  We’re all different, so how can we expect to like the same activities?  Determine what personality type you are and find the workout you’ll love the most.

Outgoing
You’re outgoing if you love being around people and socializing.  The best place for you to be while exercising is around others.  Get a membership at a gym so you can get into some healthy competition with fellow members.  Seeing others do well at something might be the push you need to follow through on your goals. 

If you’re not a fan of exercise machines like the treadmill and elliptical, think about getting into team sports.  Playing a game doesn’t feel like work, and you get to bond with your teammates.  Making friends will motivate you to keep showing up for practice, and before you know it, you’ll be in great shape.

Another option is to look into fitness classes.  These can be almost anything from dance to cardio-kickboxing.  Any class that allows you to get fit and interact with other people trying to do the same thing is optimal.
