REVEALED: How To Stay in Shape This Summer

What’s The Point?

The main point of this article is to give you a quick and effective workout that will get you back into the groove and also start burning a hell of a lot of fat off your summer ice cream belly.

To get that lovely effect of losing some inches around your stomach we have to create a way for your body to naturally do that…and do it in twenty minutes or less. Why only twenty minutes? Because I know you are very busy and honestly the whole ‘you need to workout for an hour’ thing is stupid. And hell, why not get stronger and build some lean muscle while we are at it with this workout.

So we need some exercises that can challenge your strength with maybe a cardio exercise or two and perform them in a way that we can get that after effect called excess post-exercise oxygen consumption…or EPOC for all of you who don’t care to remember all that.

Before I make this whole process sound incredibly complicated it’s really not. EPOC simply means you are consuming more oxygen after the workout, which raises your metabolism so you can burn more a lot more fat after you are done your workout.

The Ladder Workout

Now, first let me give you the exercises and then I’ll explain how the workout will work and then you can get your butt out of the seat you are currently sitting in while reading this and get yourself a nice, fast workout in.

Exercises:
1. most challenging pushup you can do
2. Pullups or horizontal pullups
3. burpees
4. squat jumps

Set your stopwatch to go off in 20 minutes. The goal is to go up the ladder and all the way down within the 20 minutes. You start by doing one pushup, followed by one pullup, followed by one burpee, followed by one squat jump. Then immediately do two pushups, two pullups, two burpees, and two squat jumps. Then go to three, then four, all the way to ten. Once you get to ten reps of each exercise then it’s time to go down the ladder so go back to nine, then eight, then seven, all the way down to one.

Have fun and work as hard as you can and try and twenty minutes.
