It's time for you to treat yourself right! Dan Grant has the secrets to let you feel good every day. ![]() What makes you feel good? Is it a hug, a quite friendly nice comment from a friend or boss, a $300 pair of jeans, a great glass of wine, a great song that makes you move, a killer workout? From a skin deep view I teach people how to live their best lives, whether it be with my fitness training or with my life and leadership coaching. But the underlying reason why people come to me to look better, live better, or lead better is because they want to feel good about themselves. If you are running a successful business and making a lot of money, but your employees don’t believe in you or your vision, then you don’t feel good about yourself. If you have a happy family but your job is keeping you away from important moments or not letting you take the time to take them on a great vacation then you also don’t feel good about yourself. And if you are overweight and it prevents you from doing things that you want to do or experience then you don’t feel good about yourself either. So I teach people essentially how to feel good I guess don’t I? Levels of Good Feelings But with everything there are definitely different levels of feeling good. I think we have to search and try to achieve that deep sense of feeling good that can only come from living the authentic true life you were meant to live…but at the same time doing and enjoying the things that make us feel good at a now level. Now there is some discretion in this isn’t there. It may feel like a good idea to break a bad day with a lot of wine but the good feeling it gives you now will lead to that bad feeling later when you wake up with a hangover or say something stupid while you’re drunk. Or that cake that is sitting there on your counter that you know for a fact will taste amazing and make you feel so much better until all those pieces of cake add up to pounds of fat on your body. Those are the ‘feel good’ situations that you need to avoid. Unfortunately, those are the feel good moments most people go after though. A great workout can change a bad day to a feeling good day that will last. A hug or a positive comment can change the outlook of a day and make a big impact on the days to come potentially. A thank you can change the world around you.
