Where Do You Have to Go and When?
If you have to ask this question, then right off the bat you know that you have communication problems with your partner. Generally the rule is that if your lady wants you to be somewhere with her and you don’t have any trumping previous engagement, then you should be there. That goes for anything from her sister’s wedding to her second cousin’s 12th Birthday party. It is usually perfectly fine to have more important or prior arrangements, but there is a difference between unavailability and excuses. Make sure you’re not crossing the line between actually busy and lame avoidance.
