How To Recover From Valentine’s Day

Own Valentines Day Next Year

Have a single’s party:  Invite all your single friends over for a bash to rival New Year’s Eve.

Go on vacation:  Clear out—preferably to somewhere where they don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day.  You can do something you really would rather be doing like sleeping on the beach or hiking in a mountain range.

Be your own Valentine:  It’s easy.  Love yourself.  Treat your favourite person to something special, like expensive ice cream and a guilty pleasure movie or spa treatment.  You can also make a top ten list of why you’re great.  A self-esteem booster!

Celebrate Love Letter Day:  Valentine’s Day is about telling the one you love how much you love him or her.  How about making this holiday a little more inclusive.  Call it Love Letter Day and send a love letter to all of the people you love.  You might just make someone’s day a little brighter.

February Blues

It’s okay.  You’ve got about 350 days before you’ll have to face Valentine’s Day again.  A lot can happen in a year.  Set your sights on new goals and promise yourself you’ll enjoy February 14th next year!
