You've Broken Up Before People need to stop the on again off again relationships. They're destructive, they're harmful and they're emotional rollercoasters. That said, they're also usually pretty great. This kind of relationships has one solid pro to counter it's many, many cons; it's interesting. Riding that wave of hostility and anger is the most invigorating thing. It completely occupies your mind and just dealing with the ups and downs becomes an obsession. Of course, this is also the same reason that you have to stop the cycle. It's going to destroy you. But you don't have to have a turbulent relationship for this to be a reason to break up. Most of the time, when people break up, it's for a really good reason. Don't let yourself be fooled into forgetting what that was. Next Level Cheating For some people, any indiscretion is a relationship ending one, but a lot of the time you can forgive infidelity due to extraneous circumstances. Not that you have to give her a clean slate—she has to work for that no matter what the nature of the betrayal was. It's when you get into really despicable methods of cheating that you have a great reason to break up. Cheating with a friend of yours shows some serious inabilities to empathize and to consider your feelings. Any woman who can't stop herself from cheating on you with a close friend probably suffers from an under-developed sense of empathy, not the most trustworthy sort of gal. |
