What was that?  You’ve never experienced the healthy splendour of a smoothie?  Let Tyler Kalmakoff show you what you’ve been missing this entire time.
Behold, the smoothie.  No pre-conditions needed.  No agreements.  Just a promise between you and the blender and the glass that this will be good.  You know it will.  It’s a smoothie, after all.  How could you go wrong?

Creamy vanilla, green, purple, yellow—they all look different, but they all taste great.  Image is nothing.  Healthy splendour is everything.  The berries, the fruit, the protein—your body’s going to love you for loving smoothies, but don’t worry, the smoothies will love you back.  Just play nice.  No sugar added.  Let the natural ingredients do their thing.  Let them walk the healthy walk.  No talking needed.

The result:  something smooth.  So smooth in fact, you could drink it with a straw, lap it up with a spoon or toss it back like a gargantuan innocent shot.  Have one in the morning, at lunch, before a workout, during a workout.  After works too.  Just promise us you won’t take one to bed.

Welcome to smoothie central.  Now go get your drink on.

The Creamy Blackberry

High risk, high reward.  The words creamy and blackberry weren’t made for each other or, at least, you wouldn’t think they were.  But once you take your first sip, you won’t be looking back.  Mixing flavours and textures is what we do.

Ingredients:
•    2 scoops vanilla frozen yogurt
•    1 ½ cups frozen blackberries
•    ½ cup strawberries
•    1 cup skim milk
•    ½ teaspoon lime juice

The rest is simple.  Blend until you can’t wait anymore.

The Mango & The Blueberry

If you like surprises, you’ll like this smoothie.  Don’t judge it until your tongue’s unwrapped its hidden flavours.  And for a non-dairy version, use almond milk or rice beverage in place of the low-fat yogurt.  Either way you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients:
•    1 heaped cup ripe mango, fresh or frozen
•    1 cup plain low-fat-yogurt
•    2 teaspoons mild honey
•    1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
•    1 ½ teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
•    6 raw almonds
•    1 ¼ cups skim milk
•    3 ice cubes

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed until smooth.
