Truth is, we’re starting to figure you gals out, but what do you know about us? We Get Scared, Easily We want to travel and make money and play poker and watch sports on Sunday, all uninterrupted for at least a few more years. Take it easy on us with the whole relationship thing. Don’t push us. We love you, but there are only so many creative ways of hinting at an engagement ring before it starts getting us thinking about leaving in the middle of the night while it’s still dark. Escape from Guantanamo? Not quite. But you get the idea. Don’t forget that, for the common bachelor, every day with you is new ground for him. Be patient. Some of us still wear Velcro shoes and eat cereal for dinner. You won’t change us overnight, but there’s no reason to get all pouty-faced over it. Actually, go ahead. We love the pouty face.
