Again, stand out.  Every facet of online dating is about standing out.  An attractive girl will receive way more messages each day than you can count by using just your fingers and toes, so make sure you have an interesting subject line.  If you “hey” or “hi” her, chances are she won’t even open your message.  Try “Fragile” or “Do Not Open” or “Top Secret.”  Girls love to be enticed.

No life stories or essays are allowed in the body of your message.  Be short and humorous with your answers and ask questions the same way.  Tease the girl you’re messaging.  Flirt.  No obvious compliments though.  You should never directly compliment a girl you don’t know.

Don’t Take It Personally

You should never take anything that happens in the online world personally.  What happens online, stays online.  If a girl blows you off, fine.  Message her again a few weeks later.  Maybe she overlooked you.  Don’t be rude.  Getting a reply message isn’t your right.

Just keep moving along.  Message other girls.  The more messages you send, the more rejections you’ll get, but at the same time, you'll get more dates too.

Have Fun And Experiment

Online dating is great for learning about yourself.  You’re forced to talk about yourself, experiment with different photos, subject lines and profile write-ups.  And the best part is you get to talk to all types of girls, even girls you probably would never approach anywhere else.

Approaching women online can also go a long way to extinguishing the fears of approaching women in person.  You get to see what works and what doesn’t, while saving the embarrassment of crashing and burning in the flesh.

Rule of thumb for online dating:  send lots of messages, reply to lots of messages, go on lots of dates and have lots of fun.  When you find someone, delete your profile.
