View From Venus: What Women Think Of Condoms

It Doesn’t Feel The Same

Let’s state one thing for the record:  women know it feels better to men to have sex without a condom.  In fact, it feels better for us too without a barrier in place.  However, unless you certainly know your partner’s sexual and STI history, condoms are essential, so suck it up and put one on.  Yeah, it isn’t quite as enjoyable, but wearing a condom is much more pleasurable than dealing with the possible very unpleasant consequences of not wearing one.  If you are really having a problem with reduced sensation, the solution is lube, lots of lube.  Apply lube liberally to your penis and her vagina before the condom goes on.  In the case of sex, slipperier is better.

Condoms For Women

There are indeed condoms for women that are worn inside of her vagina instead of over your penis.  Female condoms may provide even more protection than regular ones, since the lip of the condom covers part of her outer genitalia as well as providing a barrier for everything inside.  It may seem weird at first, but you may find that you prefer it if you give it a shot.  Female condoms are bigger and therefore harder to carry around, but they certainly fit nicely in a bedside drawer.

Unprotected Sex

A girl will only have sex condomless with you under two circumstances:  1) she’s dumb and/or drunk or 2) she’s in love with you and planning to be with you for a long time.  Make sure you find out which one it is before you go there, since they each have their consequences.
