![]() For a truly healthy glow, you must have clean skin and you must always keep it hydrated. This mask does a great job of both. Get one kiwi and place it in the food processor. Add two tablespoons of yogurt, one tablespoon of almond oil, one teaspoon of ground almonds and one tablespoon of honey. Blend it on low until it forms a thick and creamy paste. Apply and leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Wrinkles Away Vitamin E is a consistent ingredient in all anti-aging and skin remedies. This particular mask recipe requires vitamin E capsules or oil, which you can find at almost any drugstore. Drain three or four capsules of the vitamin into a bowl or use about a tablespoon if you purchased it in a big cylinder tube. Add two teaspoons of yogurt, half a teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix well. Apply it to your face and leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off. You can use this mixture two or three times a week to keep the wrinkles at bay. Smaller Pores Skin with large pores is like a pixelated picture. Smooth skin is what you need for a healthy and glowing look. While lots of products on the market boast abilities to minimize your pores, I can safely tell you that most are false advertising. It’s really hard to tighten the pores permanently and you can spend a fortune on these products for little effect. The best thing to tighten pores is alcohol (in small quantities so it doesn’t dry out skin). It is present in all astringents, which is why you feel that tightened, dry skin feeling after you apply them. Instead of spending money on overpriced and useless products, mix ground almonds (almond meal) with enough water to make a paste. Add it gradually so it doesn't end up too runny. Apply it and wait for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, mix apple cider vinegar with water. After you rinse it off, place a cotton pad into the vinegar/water mixture and go over your pores. The vinegar will act as the astringent and will tighten your pores. Common Ingredients As you can see, a few ingredients have been repeated in more than one of these mixtures. If they have these great effects just being applied to your skin from the outside, you want to bet on how great the effects will be when you include them in your diet? Eat more yogurt, honey and almonds for a healthy start from the inside out. |
