![]() The Big Test is usually so subtle that many men don’t even realize they’re part of the game. She’ll spring it on you when you least expect it. The test is designed to determine your love, devotion and willingness to sacrifice for her. You’ll be faced with a choice. Maybe it’s between going to a game with the guys or her grandmother’s birthday. Perhaps it’s a decision about whose side to choose in an argument, hers or your mother’s. It might even be as simple as overtime at work vs. supper at home. Whatever the situation, she’s waiting to see if you’re going to choose her over everything else in your life. No, it’s not fair or rational. It’s kind of wicked crazy actually. But if you fail The Big Test, you might find yourself in a game of Guess The Problem when you get home. Playtime Ideally, you’ll come across a girl for whom games are a rare occurrence instead of a daily endeavour. The kind of woman who is constantly playing these mind games with you is not the kind you want to be in a real relationship with. But indulge her every once in a while, because goodness knows she puts up with a lot of crap from you (some of which you can read about in Matthew’s Message From Mars).
