While this option is great for singles who know they want to meet someone to eventually develop a relationship with, be careful where you drop your money.  Not all dating sites are created equally.

Think through a few more things:  Do you want a site that assesses your personality, wants, likes, dislikes, needs, deal-breakers and physical attraction types and then provides you with a list of compatible people for you to sift through?  Are you looking for a site where you sign up and do the looking yourself through the database of available singles using search options?  Do you want a series of games, like get-to-know-each-other questionnaires, or would you prefer to call other singles in the area and see if you have any chemistry right off the bat?  Do you want a site that insists all members post photos of themselves or are you okay with a little verbal communication before you decide to meet?

Look for sites with a free trial, so that you can decide if it’s right for you before you put down the big bucks.  Also, it’s best to start with the one-month membership option, even if it’s more expensive per month than buying the three-month option.  You want to know that this is the place for you before you shell out any more of your money.

More and more singles are turning to the internet to find dates.  More and more people who have a girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, wife or partner have found that when they turned to the internet, they found success.
