Be Nice To Her Family And Friends

When you date a girl, you date her entire family and her friends too.  They come along as part of a package deal.  Naturally, you should always make an effort to get along with the important people in her life, but if you really want to get in her good books, take it one step further and treat them like they’re important to you too.  This means if her dad needs someone to help him build his patio deck or her best friend needs a ride to the airport, you should offer your services.  You don’t want to be a lapdog for all of her friends and family, of course, but making a real effort to help out the people she loves will make her appreciate you all the more.

Express Yourself

Some guys think it’s unmanly to tell their partners how much they care for them.  If this is you, I suggest immediately joining modern society and getting over yourself pronto.  Expressing your love for her is one of the best ways to make her happy.  You don’t have to get elaborate about it.  No one expects you to rival the Taj Mahal in scope of symbolic affection.  But you should do your best to regularly let her know how much she means to you.  Whether this means making a point of saying, “I love you” throughout the day, writing her a poem or taking her out on a special date, the effort will not go unnoticed.  Sure, it might be mushy, but the rewards are endless.

Out Of The Doghouse

Being on the outs with your partner is never fun and too many nights in the doghouse can have seriously negative effects on your relationship.  Take a little time to think about how you can put a smile on her face.  Whether you’ve been together for two months or 20 years, it’s always a good idea to continue doing things for your partner to make them feel special and loved.
