More of the Best Fat Loss AdviceBy Dan Grant [Trainer Talk]

There’s Never Only One Solution When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them that I solve people’s fitness problems. I don’t just give them a program and hope for the best. We see what works and what doesn’t, and then we make adjustments. One of the problems you might find if you go to a personal trainer is that you’ll get a very basic cookie cutter type program to start. There are many reasons he or she may give you as to why you are getting that program, but basically all they are saying is hogwash, in my opinion. If you hire a personal trainer, they should be making you a personalized program right from the start. That’s my thought, anyway. Bonus: Don’t Try to Be Friends With Everybody I get emails all the time from these nutballs who do nothing all day but give fitness advice over the internet, telling me that I can’t recommend certain things I do because it’s not for everybody. Why should I write for everybody? That’s basically impossible to do anyway. What people don’t understand is just because I write it in an article, it doesn’t mean I follow that particular course of action with every single one of my clients. Most of the stuff I say is the basics. The basics don’t work for everybody, but they definitely do work for a lot of people. I’m not trying to change the world with one article. I’m just trying to help some readers out. If you don’t want to hire a personal trainer, then you’re going to have to do the research yourself and try to find what works for you. If you think something I write about interval training or weight training can help you, then by all means, try it out and let me know how it goes. Remember, my article isn’t forcing you to do anything. If you disagree with my opinion, feel free to do more research and find what works for you. So to all the internet “experts” out there who love flooding my inbox…go find a girlfriend or something. ______________________________ money well spent Every year, I spend thousands of dollars on fat loss and fitness info. I go to seminars and conferences. I do that to try to be the best and help as many people as I can with high quality information. Hopefully that’s what I’m doing with this column that The Soko has graciously allowed me to write. If you ever have any questions or comments email me at dan (at) thesoko (dot) com.
