I’m a Real PersonClients love the fact that I’m not perfect. I train hard, I eat right, I do my best to sleep right and I have everyday issues just like them. I’ve had past experiences and issues that actually help them too. I’m an open book with my clients. I wasn’t when I started, but as time went on and I got more comfortable talking about things, it really helped people out. I became a lot more than a trainer to a lot of people. I became a pretty good friend and we’d talk about everything (and with some clients I mean everything). Sometimes I’ll eat a hot dog. Sometimes I’ll have a little Jack in my Coke. Sometimes I’ll cut a workout short if I’m really not getting anywhere with it. I work hard though. I work hard enough that I can get away with some of that stuff. That’s what I try to teach people. People sometimes don’t understand it. People who have bad diets and don’t workout wonder why they can’t have that hot dog. If you workout on a regular basis with good intensity, and you keep trying to clean up your diet as much as you can, then you’re going to get results. It doesn’t have to be that hard.
