It can be hard to figure out what to get for the woman in your life for Christmas. Some girls will provide you with a three-page wish list, while others insist they need "nothing but your love." Regardless, the prospect of gift giving often results in heart palpitating panic.

Whether you're a new couple, casually dating, or seriously committed, follow my advice and you'll be getting a lot of kisses this holiday season-with or without mistletoe.

New Relationships 

If you've only been dating a short while and aren't sure where the relationship is heading, you don't want to go overboard. Try planning a special date during the holiday season.

Skip the usual dinner and a movie and take her on a sleigh ride, skating or snowshoeing. Don't forget the flowers-they're even more welcome this time of year.

Comfortably Together

If you've been dating long enough to know her likes and dislikes, you might want to spend a bit more money on her Christmas gifts. It's usually a good idea to discuss this together in advance so one of you doesn't feel like you've spent too little or far too much. You don't have to pick out an exact dollar amount, but you should have an idea of a suitable range.

Remember, heartfelt is always better than expensive. Unless your girl is completely materialistic she will appreciate some extra thought more than your escalating credit card balance.
