Fergie likes make-up -- lots and lots of make-up. A thick armor of foundation, powder and blush is only the beginning.

To get the true Fergie look, start with copious quantities of black eyeliner. Top those raccoon rings off with some serious vixen eyelashes, and finish up with ultra shiny, luscious lips.

Hair

Billowy waves, bangs, ponytails, braids, and cornrows are just some of the hairstyles Fergie's rocked over the years. Have you ever woken up with crazy bed hair? Chances are Fergie has actually asked her stylist to make that look happen for her. Her specialty is the sky-high version.

Everyone has seen pictures of Fergie, looked at her hair and asked, "What was she thinking?" But pair the hair with the outfit and accessories, and to our great surprise it somehow works.

Shoes

Fergie wears a shameless amount of heels -- the higher and sexier, the better. However, we can only assume she woke up one day and discovered that as good as they look, heels also hurt, because she introduced the red carpet to (gasp!) running shoes.

If it had been any other star, the critics would have ripped them apart, but Fergie got away with a slap on the wrist. Upscale casual was born.

Accessories

Fergie's jewelry plays a big role in her look. While accessories generally work to pull an outfit together, Fergie's jewelry weighs into the big picture just as much as her clothes.

Gold, wood, and plastic bangles mingle together on Fergie's slim arms while rows and rows of necklaces adorn her graceful neck. Gold is a favourite of Fergie's, probably because it compliments all her outfits. 

Skin

Fergie has a weakness for the fake 'n bake. As we all know, it's impossible to achieve an authentic tan year-round. In the dead of winter, many people resort to tanning beds for the occasional hint of colour.

But some take it one step too far, turning their skin from a sexy bronze to a tacky orange. Fergie belongs to the latter category.

Any piece of clothing that everyday folk might classify as weird looks natural on Fergie. Sometimes she looks as if she was dropped from another
planet -- but given time, the critics always warm to her crazy outfits.

Those who criticize Fergie's style choices are rendered silent once mainstream style-philes start copying her ideas. There will come a time in all our lives when we secretly wish we had the guts to pull a Fergie.
